APPEAL TO DONORS

SIND SARASWAT BRAHAMAN MANDAL is a Trust registered under Public Trust Act with the Charity Commissioner Greater Mumbai (Maharashtra) Trust is functioning since 1975.

Mandal's primary objective is to create Awareness, Education and Promotion of Religious Rituals, Culture and Heritage and look after the interest and welfare of the Community.

As you are aware that we are engaged in the following welfare activtities:
1. To provide financial help to poor and needy widows every month.
2. To grant Scholarships to poor, needy and bright students.
3. To publish Saraswat Panchang every year.

Our future targets
1. To purchase a small office premises from where we may function.
2. To purchase small accommodations which can be used as Dharamshallas for our community.
3. To arrange social and cultural gatherings of artists.
4. To promote our Sindhi language while coordinating with other Regional languages.

For all these activities mentioned above, we shall be in need of lots of funds and Machinery to function, hence through this appeal we request to all Businessmen, Companies, Corporate Houses and Philanthropists to donate generously for the upliftment of the people.

We may inform you that, we are Registered Body with Charity Commissioner Govt. of Maharashtra vide no – PTR no: 3486 Mumbai since 14/1/1983 and our accounts are audited every year and Audit reports are submitted to the Income Tax Department and Charity Commissioner.

It will be appreciated if you kindly send us your contribution through Demand Draft or Cheque in favour of “Sind Saraswat Brahman Mandal”, Mumbai receipt of which will be sent to you immediately.

On Donations, Income Tax Department Govt. of India has very kindly awarded us exemption under section 80-G vide order no. AN (CH)/MN/80-G/457/2007/2007-8 dated 5-11-2007. (PAN No. AAATS0086J)

We hope after going through the lines explained above, you would kindly come forward in this pious cause, of which, the ultimate goal is the welfare of our Samaj.
